Van Haren for How do you keep track of your workouts?Tim S. Van Haren2010-01-17T01:50:35Z2010-01-17T01:50:35Z
I used fitday.com for a brief time, but found it to be not exactly what I wanted, so I started keeping track of information related to my jogging on my own.

Basically, I started with a spreadsheet with only a few columns:

Start date and time

End date and time

Distance ran

My weight

I would then use that info to compute my BMI, calories burned, average speed, etc. in other columns in the spreadsheet.

After awhile I wanted more info than what a simple spreadsheet gave me, so I created a web application that I use for my own personal use that has some nice graphs, some simple reporting, and more calculations (I'm a developer, by the way). At some point I'm going to make this tool public for everyone to use since it's been so effective for me.
